The moon – our eternal companion. Always there, and yet it holds a lot of secrets. How was ist formed? Why does it have so many craters? And perhaps the strangest thing of them all, why is it sometimes round and bright, and sometimes as if it had disappeared? These and other questions will be answered in the picture book project "Our eternal companion" with the help of impressive illustrations that vividly depict the force of the moon's formation, the explosive origin of craters or glowing lava eruptions. But it also highlights perhaps the most important insight shared by all those privileged enough to have visited it: how fragile and limited the tiny planet is on which we, together with our faithful companion, glide through space.
